Skywatch Friday: Sunset at The Pass

The most popular surf breaks on the North Coast of NSW is "The Pass" at Byron Bay. There wasn't much surf this particular evening, and the clouds were quite heavy. It didn't look like we would get much of a sunset.

I think this shot might just qualify for Theresa's "Good Fences" meme...

A tiny gap appeared in the clouds and the setting sun peeped through.

It wasn't spectacular but the soft colours were lovely.

Maybe not what some people would consider a spectacular sunset, but beautiful nonetheless. ☺

You've really done one of my favourite spots in the whole world justice with these photos. I love the soft muted colours and the clever composition, including the stair railing and the driftwood.

Wow! So beautiful. I like them all, but love the last two. Something about that piece of driftwood.
Fantastic photos that got even better when I enlarged them.
