Project 366 Rewind {Week 21}

Another week gone & a birthday celebration for us.
Day 141 (May 20) - Bribie Island sunset with the Glasshouse Mountains in the background

Day 142 (May 21) - Heron

Day 143 (May 22) - My "baby" girl, Bec, turned 20 today (I can't believe my youngest is 20!!) I decided to post a couple of shots of my mini birthday shoot of her. It was great that she had the day off Uni as the semester winds down. She took some time off from her study & assessment writing and we drove out to the bay for some girl time.

Day 144 (May 23) - I love visiting Moreton Bay (only a 15 minute drive from home). It's not like the beaches I grew up near, but I love the water.

Day 145 (May 24) - It rained much of today. My husband had a rostered day off and we had planned a day out including some photography but it wasn't to be. We don't have many plants to photograph in out garden but I noticed the water on the Philodendron leaves

Day 146 (May 25) - I was asked to do a collage labelled #MyCountry9 on Instagram. This was my submission of photos I have taken...

Day 147 (May 26) - A new app discovery from the iTunes store for my new iPhone 4S. It's called MarbleCam. This is a photo of one of my mugs. I love the effect!! Why not check it out?

Wordless Wednesday: Autumn Red

Yesterday while on a drive out in the country, I noticed a splash of red amongst the usual green & yellow foilage and the blue skies.

World Bird Wednesday: Caspian Terns

Taken the same morning as my sunrise post & my Seagull reflections post, I captured these Caspian Terns enjoying the morning sun and the incoming tide at Wellington Point.

I also tried out the AI SERVO setting on my camera (for focus on moving subjects) after reading an article in Photo Plus magazine a few days earlier. I managed to get some reasonably decent shots of 2 Silver Gulls in flight.

Reflecting on the Beauty that Surrounds Us

Just down the road, about 500m or so, is a place of beauty that I never tire of visiting...
